Sachin Deshpande

Sachin manages Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Metaverse Fund, investing in leading XR and related companies. Previously he led Qualcomm Ventures’ Series A investment in Zoom in 2013, was a Board Observer at Zoom from 2013-2018 and co-led our investment in Owlchemy (creator of the award-winning Job Simulator VR product).

Sachin was most recently a competitive intelligence lead at Facebook in AI and AR/VR. As an entrepreneur, he founded Stario (mobile CRM) and Tapioca Mobile (a TikTok-type service sold to Qualcomm). He has also held product management, developer relations and other roles.

Sachin received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
