Merav is a Vice President and Managing Director at Qualcomm Ventures and oversees all investments in Europe and in Israel. She currently serves as a board member or observer for ScyllaDB, TabTale, Weka.io, OpenSignal and Excelero. Merav also served on the BOD of Magisto (Acquired by Vimeo), Tapingo (GrubHub) Panoramic Power (Direct Energy) and Corrigon (eBay).
Merav has more than 15 years of high-tech and venture capital experience. Prior to joining Qualcomm Ventures, she was a director at Intel Capital; before that, she was a principal at Pitango Venture Capital, Israel’s largest venture capital Firm. During these years, Merav led and was involved in investments including: Forescout (NASDAQ: FCST, acq by Advent) , LiveU (Francisco Partners), Convergin (Oracle); Boxee (Samsung). Merav holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Outside the Office
Aside from interests ranging from running to yoga to volunteering for a non-profit children’s theatre, Merav also founded and is on the steering committee of the Women Founder Forum; an organization that encourages and supports female tech entrepreneurs.
