As Senior Director of Product Management, Sachin leads business development efforts for Qualcomm Ventures, focusing on value-add initiatives for the internal portfolio as well as Qualcomm itself. He also leads investments in the multimedia sector–the most recent being a video and cloud conferencing company named Zoom.
Sachin is no stranger to Qualcomm, serving as head of the company’s BREW Developer Relations Team–an app store launched during the pre-smartphone era. Before that, he founded and subsequently sold mobile video startup Tapioca Mobile, whose customers included Univision and ABC. Sachin received a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Wharton.
Outside the Office
Sachin plays tennis, golf and jazz/pop piano and is a mentor at the Preuss School, a transformative high school located in San Diego.
